The irony here is that you misused a word.

The context you're using "bravo" in is the Italian context, and while it does literally translate to  "Excellent/courageous" it's the masculine form. As Teer is a lady, it should be "brava" (Slightly different literal meaning; "good/clever") as that's the feminine form.
However, since you're using this in the steroetypical congratulatory way the literal translation doesn't quite matter.
