Guys! did you just fell that earthquake?!? (to the NZ people)
Yes, it started a five minute long conversation about the various earthquakes we have experienced over the years.
Infant Ebby is a smol, out-of-control firebending terror. It's a good thing she's also quite cute.

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
And rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

I am trying to write fanfiction but I keep getting distracted.

Uh, fair enough. (Me too, actually, but now I need to make food and get ready for tap class)

Tap class? It's quarter past six in the evening.

I know this. I think it's a test session to make sure Zoom works. (It's at seven thirty)

Correction the grass is only mostly dead, and mostly dead is slightly alive.
That phrase sounds familiar (though probably not because of the grass).
Error. Error. Cannot compute.

Yeah, I wouldn't complain about rain either. It hasn't really rained properly since November so we're having a bit of a drought. (The trees are green, but the grass is dead)

Well, I was talking about liking rain for less practical reasons   I just like watching and listening to a rainstorm, I find it soothing and invigorating at the same time.  Being out in the rain is also nice if I don't need to worry about my clothing (and myself) getting wet.

Should have known that.

Do you know what Rob McKenna (aka a Quasi Supernormal Incremental Precipitation Inducer (aka a Rain God)), would say to you liking rain?

I've been looking back over these past few months, and I've felt off. Felt different. At the time, I wanted nothing more than to go back to the good old days.
But now? Could I just ignore all the ways I've suffered and grown? Caught hold and let go? Could I return from life, having now lived?
