(I went into the supermarket while Dad went to the petrol station to check the tires' air pressure) Then we took the long route home and I made dinner, which consisted of carrot salad and a stir fry with diced beef rubbed with cinnamon and chili. It was rather delicious, if'n oi do say so moiself, hurr.

It isn't a lie, because for a statement to be a lie, the person saying it has to be aware of whether or not they are lying.  As the statement is paradoxical in nature, you can't really be lying by saying it.  This has no bearing on whether the statement is true or not, of course.
