As someone who hasn't read RA and probably won't for a while (if ever) I'd be less likely to join a forum of Redwall/LOTR/RA because of that, especially since I'm not a GIANT LOTR fan. I think that's what Book means.

RA is a nice story, but the writing really isn't that great and the effort put in isn't anywhere near Lord of the Rings. I'd choose Lord of the Rings any day, and I don't even need to think about it.
