You start to feel sleepy and feel the taniwha's warm breath, thinking how comfortable and smooth her scales must feel. A small voice within you urges you to touch them and see for yourself how shiny they are. If only you could touch the scales, you would feel your utter contentment and joy. Your paw slowly reaches out...*

Apart from getting absolutely drenched (even though I was wearing a coat) yes, but 'fine' was describing the day, not me.
