Yep. They weren't so bad when they were just at the top and bottom of the page, but half way through the story is just wrong.

Ads popping up in annoying places probably just makes people more annoyed at whoever made the ad, and therefore will be less likely instead of more likely to buy whatever product or whatever thing is advertised.

Have y'all tried out the FFN app?  It lets you download any story instantly to read offline, and I haven't seen any ads.

Perhaps I will try it. However, I doubt I'll have much need for it, at least not for a while.
