I love finding out the history of flags. I read a really good historical fiction by Cynthia Harnett (she is amazing, just saying) called Stars of Fortune. It's about the Washington family in sixteenth century England, and there's a whole load of drama with Queen Elizabeth (I won't give any spoilers). Anyway, it's their coat of arms that the American flag is based off.
Infant Ebby is a smol, out-of-control firebending terror. It's a good thing she's also quite cute.

May the road rise up to meet you.

May the sun shine warm upon your face,
And rains fall soft upon your fields.
