Hbbiton Party Thing! (post roleplay style)

[Verdauga]

Verdauga sweated a little when he noticed the arrow reaching for the fruit, but held it out still, smiling. "I just need to wait for the right moment..." he thought.

[Kade Rivok]

Kade dug up from underground, accidentally  breaking surface right underneath Verdauga's feet. 

"Hey all, what's uuuOOOOHH?!?

[Verdauga]

Verdauga's chair was knocked over, and as it fell he swung out his arms, slicing one on the arrow tip and neatly spearing the mango on it.

"MMMffffffffffffwwwww" he mumbled, face down in the dirt.

[Kade Rivok]

"I, um, ah... sorry about that...."  The Otterbadger mumbled, retreating back down his hole.

[Verdauga]

"ffrgud" Verdauga replied, giving a thumbs up to Kade. He still lay faceplanted by his chair.

[Ebantu the Kararehe]

Ebantu nibbled the mango, watching the scene with amusement. "Do you need any help, Verdauga?" she asked innocently.

[Verdauga]

Verdauga didn't stir. "Mmgd," he said, or tried to anyway, "Mst gna stee here awhil" he finished, ignoring the gash on his arm.

Herman Smith entered the party grounds.  The youthful dolphin, clad in his bright pea-green suit could be seen half a mile away, by an elderly mole.

"Hello, everyone!" Herman called out. "I do hope I'm not late."

[Verdauga]

Verdauga had gotten up by now, and was inspecting the imminent infection in his arm when Sheev Herman came onto the party grounds.

"A little late, but eh.

"Hello!" Herman shouted, four feet from his new friend.  "Is there food still available for consuming?"

[Verdauga]

Wincing at the noise (and his pain) Verdauga replied, "Yeah, On the tables there. Eb saved you a spot."

"Thank you, friend" Herman replied with hunger."  Herman sat on the spot that was saved for him.  The youthful dolphin ate heartily.

[shisteer of nothing much]

Teer nodded a greeting to the already seated dolphin, smiling briefly before turning her attention to Verdauga, a concerned from crossing her forehead. Pulling a jar of kawakawa ointment out of her pocket, the taniwha held out a paw.
"Here, let me see."

[Verdauga]

"No, I got i--" Verdauga almost finished before glancing at Teer and smiling. "Sure, Could you take a look at it?" he asked, gesturing to the gash on his forearm and holding it out to her.

[shisteer of nothing much]

Teer's lips tilted upward at Verdauga's protest, Miss Cornelia's favourite phrase springing automatically to mind.
"Just like a man!"
The taniwha held Verdauga's forearm gently, turning it towards the light so she could see it properly. It was bleeding but not badly enough to indicate damage to any major blood vessels. The cut was about two inches long, maybe even more, but it was fairly shallow so it cause much problem, as long as it was washed out properly.
Grabbing a jug of water from the table, Teer made sure it wasn't the stuff with lemon in it and then grinned at her husband.
"Hold still, this may get uncomfortable. Ready?"
