Doubt it's that high. There were only 50 Rangers in Araluen, after all.

Booklover, I'm not sure if you realise this but the Ranger Corps' required more from their members than just drinking coffee and raising eyebrows. Other skills were required.
Another thing, there were multiple people who weren't rangers who could raise their eyebrows and enjoy coffee.

Not particularly, no. People often fantasize about going back in time but it actually wouldn't be very comfortable. Besides, Verdauga is much more amusing than Halt.
