Plot twist: Trevor actually falls for the lady that locked the princess up in the tower.

*curtains open again. Grunts can be heard from back stage, then Prince Trevor walks onto stage, half dragging and half carrying another man. Unable to toss him up like he did with the girls, Prince Trevor requests assistance)

"Fair Maiden, I have returned with one of your brothers. How can I get him up to you?"

(Maiden one) "You could try unlocking the door and sending him up the stairs."

(Maidens two, three, five, six and seven) "Yeah, unlock the door. He'll be happy to just walk up."

(Maiden Four) "Just let him go and get us some food instead. I'm starving."

(Prince Trevor) "Oh, melodious Maiden, I do not have the key and your brother will not cooperate to being tossed."

(Brother one) "Too right I won't! Let me go, you pig headed buffoon. If you really want me to visit my sisters that much, I can climb up with a grappling rope, if the noble prince has one, that is."

(Prince Trevor) "Of course I have a grappling rope! I had a good upbringing, you know. Always be prepared, as my father used to say."

(Brother one takes grappling rope, slings it over his shoulder and climbs tower swiftly without it. Prince Trevor goes to retrieve the next brother. Panting can be heard, along with the sound of running. Prince Trevor comes back onto stage with brother two under his arm, grunting at regular intervals as said brother's feet connect with his back)

"Oh fair maiden, I have brought you your second brother. Stand clear of the window for this one is light enough to toss."

(Maiden one) "I said to drop the fair part. And sure, chuck him up. We're all out of the way."

(Prince Trevor leaves stage and returns shortly after, holding an open book, with the third brother following, his eyes glued to the page. Prince Trevor tossed the book into the tower, pointing after it)
"Fetch."
(Brother three scales tower with a grunt of annoyance at his place having been lost while Prince Trevor calls to the maiden)

"Oh love of my heart, marry me and we can live forever in joy and harmony."

(Horse appears, standing directly behind Prince and pressing the point of a rapier to his neck)
"Nay, the maiden is mine. I now have all I need to rule the world, for the 'fair maiden' is the Fonglin. Fool! Did you not notice she had ten siblings? That her eyes were dark brown and her skin tanned? That her hair was purple? You have now given me the power to destroy all the world and I plan to use it! Mwahah-" (horse disolves into coughing, muttering darkly about stupid bees that charged ridiculous prices for their honey)

(Prince Trevor) "No! What have I done? I will now have to watch all my loved ones die and perish."

(horse) "Fine, I will have mercy on you. I'll lock you in isolation so that you won't be able to see or hear any of it."

(Prince Trevor) "No, please I-" (is hit on back of head with sword hilt and falls, unconscious, to the stage)

(Announcement:) There will be more than two halves. (Announcement ends and curtain closes for second half time)

*Whispers to whoever happens to be sitting beside him.*  See?  Just like I said, a complete tool.

*nods agreement* Yeah, he is. You never know though, he might bring out something unexpected in the third half.
