Thank you for the ping.

Hello Wylder! Glad you are interested. What type of character are you thinking of playing for this? Joining the Pirates or being a 'goodbeast' against them? :>

Wylder Treejumper

@Faclan I was thinking about being more a vermin wanderer that joins the pirates... but if you think that a goodbeast would be conducive to a more interesting plot, I would be happy to RP one. There wouldn't be very much interaction, however, unless I got captured.

Courage: Not only the willingness to die manfully, but also the determination to live decently.

I think you can go with whatever you want, my friend.  He was just letting you know that it's an option, I believe.

It's good manners to let the RP host give direction for the best story result. But personally, I don't see a lot of sense in playing a non-vermin character, because who would I roleplay with? Unless I join the pirates or get captured by them, there's no one to interact with, and at that point it would probably just be better to be a vermin character anyways. I'll go ahead and build out a character with the assumption that it'll be a vermin character, and then if Faclan thinks a goodbeast would be a better ingredient I'll just make a few tweaks. Nothing too difficult.

Infant Ebby is a smol, out-of-control firebending terror. It's a good thing she's also quite cute.

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
And rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Indeed it is. I don't think it's necessary to detail our marching, especially since vermin don't normally enjoy the scenery so there's not much to talk about. Once new characters and such are figured out, does anybeast object to skipping to the the village/spot where Wrackfur said there's a village?

Vermin works, we Pirates need more people around that know the land so we don't wander around chasing our own tails so much.

Yeah, after all, Wrackfur's the only one who knows what way up a tree goes and he's probably going to die soon. *evil laughter on behalf of the Captain*

So have we decided whether or not there's a village there? If not, it would be an interesting place to intro Wylder's character.
I've been looking back over these past few months, and I've felt off. Felt different. At the time, I wanted nothing more than to go back to the good old days.
But now? Could I just ignore all the ways I've suffered and grown? Caught hold and let go? Could I return from life, having now lived?

Kade Rivok

I was wondering that as well.  Were you intending for him to be lying, or just letting it be so that it could play either way?

I mean, I kinda left it up either way, but, even as slow as Wrackfur is, I'd hope he's smart enough not to lie to the leader of a very hostile group.
*Shrugs.* Either way'll work. I am fine if he's killed.

No problem for me bud. I don't have much to say anyway.

Also, I think our next fight should be a bit less one-sided   The last one was a bit of a beat down, after all.

ALSO also, I think we should decide what to do with the prisoners prior to our attack.

It may be interesting to have one of the prisoners escape and be recaptured, possibly after murdering one of Mharbrow's crew. Either that or he escapes and goes to tell the Long Patrol where we are. (Probably depending on whether he's somebeast's personal character or just a random crewbeast)

Speaking of The Long Patrol, when are they coming in and, once they've arrived on the scene, who's controlling them?
