I think it would be better to have the pirates run into a raiding band of Ulrik's henchmen and get into a fight, so that they can get drawn in more organically and so we get some intermediate conflict. You know, get revenge on the pirate king for murdering your mates, that sort of thing; more emotional investment that way. What do you think?

Courage: Not only the willingness to die manfully, but also the determination to live decently.

Do you think two depleted crews could combat some full force wave scum? Thats the only concern I have with that plan and otherwise like it a lot.

Sebias of Redwall

(Btw, I can have Robert fall into the camp at any time. Just thought I'd wait until y'all were ready for him to interrupt the vermin's conversation.  :P)

Meh, it doesn't have to be an entire pirate crew they run into; could just be a foraging party. It would have the additional benefit of killing off NPCs in the crew that don't contribute and are just taking up space in the RP as well, so we can trim things down and make it easier to keep track of everyone (I usually dislike parties with NPCs in them for that reason, since no one person is responsible for them they tend to get in the way).

shisteer of nothing much

That's fair enough. I guess killing most of them off is a good idea. (I'm sort of inclined to keep Sliteye, though. He's a fun character to play)

Getting rid of Tormbo could be interesting. He seems to be the only beast who can understand Tulian.

*raises paw* Is there anything I should make Maut and Veach do?
Not that I can think of. @Kade Rivok needs to take them to camp.

We don't have to kill them all, just the ones that aren't needed.

Noooo, don't kill him! I could barely understand anything Tulian said in the last post! :giggle:
Fursonas:
Riley: Mountain lion, Sonic the Hedgehog
Amara: African wild dog, The Lion King/The Lion Guard
Masika: Eurasian river otter, Redwall
Mara: Wolf, general

shisteer of nothing much

Yeah, neither could I. (Though Faclan usually translates things for us in OOC at the end of his posts, if nobeast translates within them)

Are we sure Tulian doesn't actually speak a foreign language? Or in tongues? :giggle:

Not at all.

Now would be a perfect time for @Robert to fall into the camp.

He basically does. But if Tornbo does biff it Ill be sure to include what he says at the bottom so peeps can try to nab some words. But taking out some and a foraging party sounds like a plan :D

If nobeast objects, I think Belladonna is going to wake up from all the noise. You guys aren't exactly whispering.
Infant Ebby is a smol, out-of-control firebending terror. It's a good thing she's also quite cute.

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
And rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Lol, you can do whatever you want as long as it's in character  ;D
