Does anyone play this game?  There are characters from Clone Wars, Rebels, Legends, etc.

It's quite fun.

You collect characters from the Star Wars universe.  Then you join a guild and participate in galactic events.  For starters you take on the rancor.  As far as I know you can only fight A.I. operated characters.

Like, is it card based?  RPG?

It is not RPG based.  But you can upgrade your characters.  You may make them more powerful with a little TLC.
