You kids don't know what it was like, having a separate camera and phone. How many of us here have had to get a roll of film developed?

We have a proper camera, it's just rarely used, since our phones have better quality cameras.

I haven't had to get a roll of film developed, but we have a family camera that is just a camera, and I used to use it a lot.

When me and my sisters were young, our parents gifted us with a new camera because they liked us.

My parents have never seen the point in plastic toys. If we wanted to take photos, we used the real camera. (Though none of us liked photos anyway) The things me and my sisters always wanted to play with were tools, so dad let us play with his real tools, until he got sick of us losing them, at which point he gradually got us our own tools. (Strangely enough, we weren't so prone to lose them)
