*over walie-talkie* Ah, good. I'll bring her up now. *scoops Lass into paws and carries her upstairs* Wake up, sister. Scott wants to see you.

Thankfully, Lass was already awake at this time and managed to stay that way. "But...I look like I've bean attacked by a... bandage... factory, and smell like blood... and kawakawa..." she groaned, then winced and tried not to scream. "I...should clean....u-p...there's blood all over...the place..."

[Verdauga]

*Looks at Lass protesting as Teer reaches the top of the stairs.*
He isn't in much better shape. He'll just be happy to see you.

"Teer...I...think I....ruined everything...." Lass paled at the sight of Scott's arm in a sling. "w-what....happened....to you...?"

[Verdauga]

*Realizes Lass was talking to Scott.*

Lass winced but smiled. "What...happened... I thought...you were....in a tree..."

*Realizing he was hurting Lass Scott quickly let go*
"Sorry. Lass I have a question why did you follow me?"

Lass pretended to study her paws. "I wanted...to help..."

*Scott felt warm by that comment. Getting up from his bed he looked at Lass the bandages all over her body. Scott got a sudden pang of guilt. A little part in his brain kept telling him it was his fault. Scott tried convincing himself it wasn't his fault but deep down he knew it was his fault. Sitting down again Scott felt the ribs he had broken. He remembered everything, the time he dropped Lass's cake, when they danced together, the cheesy bun, up in the tree when Lass sang, breaking Lass out of the room, he remembered One-Eye pointing a gun at him. Scott sighed and sat back. Pulling out his dirk he began twirling it around his fingers.

*follows Verdauga out, then remembers cake and places it beside Lass* Here's something to eat, if you get hungry. It looks very good. Well done, Scott.
