Lass looked up as Scott got up, he seemed to have a far off look in his eyes, he was looking at her, but it seemed he was not seeing her as she was, Lass blushed as she realized that she was drenched in blood, then Scott sat back down again, Lass wondered what he was thinking.
Gaah, I wish Teer had let me clean up a bit first... she thought.

*Scott came out of his stupor and stood up. He picked up his smashed buckler and inspected the damage. The shield had been split open in the middle which had cut deep into his arm. Remembering Lass was in the room he turned to face her and said.*

"Thanks for coming for me and saving me."

[One-Eye the wildcat]

One-Eye suddenly appeared in the middle of the room, let out an insane cackle and disappeared with a noise like a gunshot.

Oh no, he's gonna go off again... this is all my fault.. Lass was worried, the thought she knew what Scott was doing, and she Really hoped she was wrong.
"please....don't go... again..."

*comes back in* Hey, guys. I've just come up to check on you and see if you need anything. *puts a tray on the table* Remember to stay hydrated.

Lass looked pleadingly at Scott, she felt her self sway slightly, but fought to stay in the land of the living. "Please don't....go...I have not the strength to...follow...."

*supports Lass so she doesn't fall over* Don't worry, Lass, nobeast is going anywhere.

Lass shut her eyes tight... then went limp.

*picks Lass up and puts her gently on the bed* Have a nice sleep, sister.

*Scott listened to Lass's pleas trying to block them out he wanted to go no scratch that he needed to go. When Lass went limp Scott told Teer.*
"Teer I'm leaving tell Lass I said goodbye and please don't let her follow me."
*Without waiting for a reply Scott turned around and left the room.*
