Nice! I always thought it was 'Eldar days, before the fall', since Nargothrond was an ancient elvish kingdom (I think). I looked it up though and it is, as far as I can tell 'Elder days', so yeah.

I mean, I always heard it but I just assumed it said 'Eldar', rather than 'Elder'. I know now though. (By the way, is Strong, by Clamavi de Profundis, sufficiently Lord of the Rings-ish? It's not strictly part of the fandom but it kind of has that sort of feel)
