"No need to be sad, it's the fifth one I broke! Anyway why did they lock you in?"

"um..." Lass didn't want anybeast getting killed, so she left out the part about getting sedated...
"Teer was trying to get me to sleep...and I didn't want to..." then what Scott had just said sunk-in. "wait...so you often break knives on doors?"

"Not only doors, but many many other things."

Lass really hadn't thought this through very well, she had no idea how to get past Teer. she would stop me for sure...I think I may need to try something new... as Lass thought this she smiled weakly. "I take it there have been other times where it hasn't broken?" she said laughingly.

(*is annoyed* Why would you do that? There are so many ways you can open a lock without breaking it. It's not like I installed a special lock with anti-pick bars and such. Besides, if you really wanted to get in, you could just grab the key that's on the hook RIGHT OUTSIDE THE DOOR!!! There was no need for those actions! *is still annoyed*)

OOC: well let's just say I was rushing and hadn't thought it through plus I don't carry lock picking items and it wasn't specified wether the key was in your pocket (if any) or not.

"Well actually my knives always dent crack or chip whenever making contact with metal or rock because, this is more of a secret weapon used to surprise the enemy with steel stuck between it's ribs. This knife is currently the longest lasting knife I've had!"

Lass laughed slightly as she said; "and how long was that?" she looked up into Scott's face, and a warm smile spread across her's.

OOC: I also thought you had taken the key, Teer...

(That's still no excuse. You can open a locked door with a shoelace, for goodness sake! There was no need to break it)

"The current record of one week has been changed to one week and five days!"

*Scott looked into Lass's eyes they seemed to change color probably because of her shapeshifting.*

Lass let out a small laugh quickly masked by her paw, but her eyes let her mirth slip, sparking and dancing in laughter. "you what?!"

"That is how long my knives survive. The average life span of one of my knives is five days!"

"I've only ever had one...for seven seasons!" she said with a laugh.

*Jaw drops *

"S-seven seasons b-but how?

Lass fell on the floor trying to stop laughing enough to answer, but only laughed harder.
