*Scott stood up and picked up his rifle to lean on. Suddenly a dark shape emerged from the forest and smashed Scott against a tree. Scott's alarm claxon went off and he dropped his gun. The beast looked similar to the one that had eaten Lass except more shaggy and twice as big. Scott grabbed at his dirk but the thing chomped on his shoulder piece. Scott's armor protected him from the bite but it left some pretty nasty bite marks on his shoulder piece. Scott grabbed the beasts mouth and held it open. The beast shook Scott's hands off and let out a loud shriek. The shriek was soon followed by several in the distance. Scott new what that meant...Reinforcements. "LASS RUN" *Scott punched the beast in it's jaw and kicked it's knee. Scott grabbed for his dirk as the beast brought it's foot down on his face.*

Lass looked in horror at the massive shadowy form, she was frozen in fair, she tried to move, but something was forcing her to stay put, she stood there as if in a trance the shadow came closer, it was looking into her soul, bring out every fear every doubt and making her relive them, it was happening around her, she heard a faint scream, but it was far off, the shadow was upon her now, she did not even struggle as she was carried away.

*The beast kicked Scott again and again but Scott suddenly grabbed it's foot and twisted it. Scott's strength plus his MJOLNIR armor was enough to sprain the beasts leg. Scott stood up and stabbed the beasts eyes with his dirk. Scott noticed one that he was surrounded and two Lass wasn't with him. Scott saw a shadowy figure running through the trees. Using his built in boosters Scott jumped over the beasts and chased the shadowy figure through the trees.*

Lass cringed away from the horrible beast, it grunted and gently placed the stunned her in a small cage and chained her paws to the sides, but Lass just lay there, unmoving, the beast picked up the cage and jumped into the tree tops, moving with a speed no beast could match, it made strange grunting sounds as if trying to wake her, but Lass didn't react at all.

{You two lovebirds may now roleplay this out here, and give Teer and I some peace and quiet. Enjoy.}
I've been looking back over these past few months, and I've felt off. Felt different. At the time, I wanted nothing more than to go back to the good old days.
But now? Could I just ignore all the ways I've suffered and grown? Caught hold and let go? Could I return from life, having now lived?

Ebantu the Kararehe

Infant Ebby is a smol, out-of-control firebending terror. It's a good thing she's also quite cute.

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
And rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

#7
Through the fog of her dark sleep, Lass heard a thump of heavy boots on pine needles...Every inch of her body was burning inside, her flesh seemed to be soaked, yet still on fire. The small shapeshifter tried desperately to wake, but it was in vain, suddenly, a shadow loomed before her, slowly the shadow took form, the form of a goblin. Though, by his size, he could be mistaken for a troll. His eyes seemed to be burning, like a fire in the night. He wore a chainmail shirt, and was clad in skins of other poor beasts. Around his waist hung the severed heads of Lass's loved ones, all she could do was look on.. She could recognize them, though their faces were scarred and battered. Lass tried to cry out, she tried to fight back, but she couldn't move, something was holding her back. The massive goblin smiled horridly, though, I only call it that for lack of a better word. Every line of the goblin's face was filled with hate, but strangely, he didn't do anything.
Tears rolled down the young beast's face, she tried not to think of who she had lost, but she couldn't look away. Memories flooded her mind, memories of Scott, memories of Ebby, memories of all the times Teer had helped her through the hard times and- THUMP! The cage that held Lass was opened. She was greeted with a kindly face, very unlike the horrid goblin, or the shadowy figures at the prom. This creature was covered in dark brown fur, very think and dense, but something about the beast was calming, and warm, Lass's dazed brain couldn't grasp it. All else was forgotten as the beast gently lifted Lass out of the cage. After being mortally wounded, eaten, then brought back to life, just to be badly hurt again, Lass was in no shape to do anything really, she fell into a fitful sleep as soon as the gentle beast picked her up.

The massive shaggy hideover wandered into her hut, she placed the ottersquirrel she had saved onto one of her massive towels, folded over to a makeshift bed, after doing this, she took off her shadowy cloak and disguise, then started to tend to her wounds. It's a riska thing, stealin' shada 'unta's targets. Wonder what they wanted wit' this young 'un. Hardl' looks 15 seasons...Poor beast. Wonder if she'll wake oop... The kindly hideover mused. After a while she got up and started to make a salve.

(OOC:...I was bored.............)

The Shadow of Korriban

Out from behind the mists, a figure approached.  His eyes were of fire and his bronze-like bod looked very powerful!  With a yelp he started his fire-like dance.💃  His footwork was so fast the dark falcon envied him.  "Lass and Scotty!  My friends, you look rather different than the last time I saw you.  Perhaps your faces have matured!"  With a twinkle in his eye, Sheev bowed respectfully to his friends.
