Captain Wortshire

*audio plays*

Smile tho' your heart is aching
Smile even tho' it's breaking
When there are clouds in the sky
You'll get by

If you smile
Thro' your fear and sorrow
Smile and maybe tomorrow
You'll see the sun come shin-ing thro' for you

Light up your face with gladness
Hide ev-'ry trace of sadness
Altho' a tear may be ever so near

That's the time
You must keep on trying
Smile, what's the use of crying
You'll find that life is still worth-while

If you just smile

Wait a second, how did Wortshire die? That's tragic!

So Scott's the moiderer?
I've been looking back over these past few months, and I've felt off. Felt different. At the time, I wanted nothing more than to go back to the good old days.
But now? Could I just ignore all the ways I've suffered and grown? Caught hold and let go? Could I return from life, having now lived?

Hai?
You mean me? Aww, how very nice of you, Kade, but I doubt it.

In that context, "hai" means "what".

Kade's too hipster to use the normie "Nani?"

Kade Rivok

It has a kind of different feel to it.  Using "hai" in that context has a more incredulous feel to it than "nani".  In my opinion

I don't speak Japanese, so I'd have to agree with you there.

Maybe incredulous isn't the right word.  Confused, I think?  Yeah, that makes more sense.  In my head.

I think it's time to do as the title suggests and murder this midnight mansion. How 'bout it?
