Well of course you wouldn't see 'em; they stay at my place.  I just head over to your attic when I'm on the clock.
There is no clock in our attic. There is a window thingummy and a catwalk and tons of insulation but that's about it.
(There's also Kade.)
Life is often like pushing a luggage cart through the airport. Sometimes I feel ridiculous, sometimes I look ridiculous, but I just keep pushing that luggage cart, and hoping I'm generally heading in the right direction.
Always keep your word, always finish what you started, and never go unprepared.
In a hole in the ground, there once lived a hobbit.
It's your birthday today, everybeast say hooray, there's a cat licking your birthday cake, it's your birthday today!
Long live the RRR!

"On the clock" is a way of saying that I'm working.  Haunting your house is a job, so when I'm doing it, I'm "on the clock".

Alternatively, you could just be trying to be a smarty pants, which in that case... for shame.

Gee is that all ghosts ever do? Except scaring people and all that rot. It must be a very boring life.

I also play video games.

Spoooooooky video games.

'Cause I'm a ghooooooost.

And do you play as ghosts in those video games?

Nah, I use video games as a form of escapism; I don't wanna just be me  :giggle:

Makes sense.

On the clock could also mean literally, you know. We couldn't be certain you didn't mean you were standing on a clock.
Error. Error. Cannot compute.

*Wonders what's up with Brits and defenestration*
Do you know other Brits who do it, or is it just Booklover?

Jet used to do it all the time.

Also, someone (Flib?) called me ma'am and I feel OLD. Not even the kids I teach call me ma'am. My soul shriveled up and climbed up my throat as I read that. *Am being overly dramatic, it felt really weird but it's fine XD
It was me. Here in Lockaridge we call anyone your age marm. Tis a sign of respect, and after all you are a mod, we ought to respect you.  ;)

But-but I'm not that old D: I'm only 18!
