...how familiar are you with Ranger's Apprentice? (Not that the pairing makes sense (which, admittedly, applies to almost all the popular pairings in any fandom, and with crossovers the age gap is adaptable as well, which makes it far better than some), just that you seem so opposed despite hardly knowing anything about Will (however, some ridiculously popular pairings include characters mentionwd once, so I guess it doesn't stop people pairing people))

You shouldn't mix a kiddie movie with a great book series. It would be too traumatizing.
