Well, probably, but sometimes I doubt that. Mosquitoes just bite you and then leave you alone. You get a fly and it just buzzes at you continually for hours on end without ever seeming to stop, and then you finally think it's gone, and ANOTHER ONE COMES!

Ah, but flies just generally make you sick and annoyed. Mosquitoes carry specific deadly diseases and inflame the area where they suck your blood.

Fly spray, or is there a more civilized method?

More civilised? I don't know, but if we took the venus fly trap route, we could grow plants and destroy flies in the same go. Flyswatters don't work so well on mosquitoes, so fly spray might be the better option there.

Don't know about Freddys (are they all froads?) but Freddos are top expensive fpr you to live on them, so you'd starve if you tried.
