A rock flies from out of what appears to be nowhere and cleaves the traveler's hand which knocks infant Lass out and onto the dusty grounds.  Herman jumps out from what appears to be nowhere, grabs infant Lass and dashes off.

Herman tosses a bilgestone at the traveler which stuns and knocks him to the ground.  In the confusion Herman grabs Scott's bag and Lass in it.
