Hi all! We're two friends who started a podcast about the Redwall books.

We both grew up reading the series and wanted to return to it after the announcement of the Netflix adaptations. The premise of the pod is to "remember, reread and rethink" the series as we go through the books. Our intention isn't so much to strictly review the books, but to explore our nostalgia for the series and try to understand where these books fit in our current pop culture.

Can you explain more about how the podcast got its name?

Yeah! It kinda refers to two things. When coming up with names, I liked the idea of Re:Redwall as in "Regarding Redwall." Our ideas on how to approach the topic developed from there. We want to look at our nostalgia and fondness for the book series, especially in light of the new shows being announced for Netflix. We thought a good way to summarize that premise is that we "remember, reread and rethink" the series. So the name refers to both the phrase "in regards to Redwall" and the play on all the re suffixes mentioned in our premise.
