you keep moving down the corridor. it grows ever darker, and eventually you can see nothing at all. you feel along the wall, forced to begin going left, and then right. you realize are must not be good at dark, crowded places, used to the bright, open glades of mossflower as you are. you are, in short, lost. you stand still, trying to think of anything that could ground you. you notice that it is considerably warmer than it was before, and it is not due to just your recent exertion. you pause for breath. you could carry on immediately, or wait here for a bit.

you are a squirrel, and you think that it would be nice to have a tree. you are however in a fortress. fortunately, it appears that it is a special fortress that has occasional trees built into the side of the walls. it is however far too hot to stay in a tree here. also, despite trees being built into the walls, none are built in anywhere near you, and as a squirrel with a limited perspective, you remain entirely unaware that this is a fortress that has trees occasionally built into the walls. you are also still very hot.
