And I pointed out that as I'm looking after both mine and Verdie's old board, I cannot be responsible for another board. Also, in all the time you've been gone, I don't recall you giving a good reason (the typhoon, fine, but I find it an odd coincidence that you happen to be away when we're meant to be running events and can't even take five minutes to check the forum despite your grandparents being in good health yet you spend hours on the forum as soon as it ends), nor did we have any prior notice. You cannot expect someone who's already in charge of two of the most active boards to take over yours without giving any warning or at the very least doing what is standard practice and informing everyone in the staff chat if you're going to be away (then the usual decision is to divide the duties up, unless someone volunteers, or the Overstrator advises otherwise), especially during an event. I was lucky that Corn was kind enough to volunteer to take over the roleplay board.

I wish to give notice that I would be taking short leave of the forum for several days, as I will be unavailable, as I am leaving with my family as the health of my esteemed grandparents has taken a downward turn.

Let Bookie take charge of the RP threads in my absence and give my regards to Verd.

Also, someone keep an eye on Lass and Ally, as their behavior has been strange recently.

Just want to clarify the accusations Lass and Ally have made against me, which leave out one pretty important detail. Yes, I made the edit, but by that stage the announcement was already in the deleted thread storage facility. See, Scott had already started ruining that board with emojis, and we needed to start afresh at that point (with Scott banned from posting). I was just having a bit of fun with the deleted topic, no harm done. Of course, when the actual, for real replacement thread was posted with the intact announcement, Russa must have got confused and decided to merge the deleted thread with the fresh-start thread, which made things utterly chaotic and of course meant my joke announcement was now public. I of course now regret making that edit, but how I was I supposed to know that would happen?

First off, how could you joke about our dear Overstrator in such a disrespectful way? I'm genuinely horrified. Second, I was attempting to completely eradicate your "joke" thread from the deleted thread storage facility so that there was no possibility of our Overstrator ever having to see the vile thing. As you are probably aware, I'm new to my job. I asked Corn for directions on how to do this and she willingly provided them. Perhaps she made an honest mistake. However, there is a chance she intentionally gave me the wrong directions.
