If you call a bunch of uneducated froggies froads, then you are saying that we must be froads because we are uneducated.
And if froads are uneducated, they must not have any superior knowledge.
Of course, there's only so much knowledge you can learn through education, but learning it also requires you to think for yourself in order to be able to understand what you are being taught, and so if you are uneducated, and are surrounded by education, as Freddy must be when he's hanging out in Russa's school, and none of it seems to get through to you, then you don't seem to have a lot of intelligence.
Therefore you were insulting Freddy's intelligence.
