Don't forget to exercise proper trigger discipline and make sure your gun is well maintained.  Deagles are well known for jamming, so any gunk is only going to make that happen more often, and we don't want that.

The head of the bullet is hollowed out so that it flattens and expands on impact.  It cause more damage to whatever is hit, while also decreasing the chances of the round overpenetrating and hitting whatever is behind your target.
