Vitch is like one of those misbehaved brats that every now and then you just run into in life, and you just shake your head as you walk by.

Honestly, I didn't mind Vitch. Mattimeo was the one that annoyed me. Also, Vitch looked adorable in the show.  ::)

Yeah, he was cute. Also, Mattimeo was enfuriating, they way he wanted another war to come along so he could be a hero. :P

My thoughts exactly.  ;) Of course, I tend to just automatically like vermin in general (I have no idea why though).
Also, I have a quick question: Was Vitch actually a kid, or was he a runty adult? I always thought he was a kid.

I think that all the villains in Mattimeo were created by BJ to be specially hated by the reader. You know, the type of bad guys that you may be somewhat pleased when they die. And even though Vitch wasn't the worst of the Bad lot, he was still a baddie, kind of justifying all that happened to him.

Life is too short to rush through it.

So did I! While Ungatt was the only villain that I ever showed sympathy to, I felt stone cold about Slagar's and Malkariss's lot.
