Well, that gun appears to be pretty poorly designed anyways    If she has the stock against her shoulder, there no way she's reaching that front grip.  My head cannon is that since it's a future gun, it can switch from long range sniper to mid range assault rifle, which is why it has that front grip

If it's an electrically pumped laser (doubtful, 'cause physics) it wouldn't have recoil, so there's that. But it doesn't look to be ergonomically designed, does it?
