Flo had an idea. She could start singing a song hoping the others would join. Then the Redwallers would hear them and open up.
"Over the long and dusty roads,
us travelers have our codes.
We fight by day
and eat our way......
coming by for some friends and more food to eat!!"

She sang it once more hoping for someone to come.

A young mousemaid was in the Abby lawns tending to the little ones when she heard the song she walked over to the gait opened it and peered out
"Who are you?" she asked timidly.
"Pleased to introduce! I am Nathan Ondion Mithon but you me Lady can call me Nom This here tough gel' is Dawnlilly, this here scare is trillium and this dashing beauty is Flo!" he said pointing to all of them and then added "And some others, Dawnlilly is in charge of this here mission from lillyfall they are I'm from Humphrey's palace or so its called i live with moles."
"Oh lillyfall! are you related to grandma wisteria?"
"Yes that is why were here miss.....?"
"Jannet! but you can call me Jan Dawnlilly!"
"Than you can call me dawn did grandma make it here okey?"
"Yes come I'll led you to her!" she said starting across the lawn
"Come on crew!" Dawnlilly said breathing a sigh of relieve

BIC: Flo winked at Nom, "Dashing beauty, you say. Finally you got my name correct!" She rushed into the Abbey as Nom chased her.

"Well yes i have been known to have a brain me gel' get over here at once!" he yelled chasing her around

Flo was laughing as she bumped into a tree falling down. "You had a brain!"

[Wisteria Wild Cat]

Trilium was in deep conversation with a large male hedgehog.
"So, I can try yer Strawberry Cordial if'n I tells ye all I know about the vermin, is that a bribe, Jugger Kinkspike?"
Jugger Kinkspike chuckled at Trilium's mock harsh tone, "If ye want the cordial then, well, yes."
Laughing uproariously, the odd pair made their way to the abbey cellars.

Dawnlilly called after her "Don't take to long we are going to see grand wisteria!" turning to jannet she said "So where is she?"

A dibbun mousemaid helped up Flo. "What you runna in a tree for mizzus?"
Flo thanked the mousemaid and said, "I ran away from a hare who apparently has a brain. What's your name little one?"
The mousemaid replied, "Imma called Tiggle. Whata your name?"
Flo told the mousemaid,"I'm a fatal beauty according to htat hare Nom over there. But any other beast calls me Flo."
Tiggle liked the ottermaid,"You commen with me Miz Flo. You gonna be with DAB."
As Flo was being dragged off by Tiggle she heard Nom mutter, "Now Where's the scoff around this place, wot, wot? You there molechap do you know where the tuck is kept?"

Wisteria thought she heard new voices outside. The elderly otter covered shoulder with a shawl and smiled at Lady Violet the mother badger of Redwall.

"It seems some new friends have entered the gates Violet. Would you like to come meet them with me?"

The badger mum smiled and stood slowly from her chair. "You always were the sociable one Wisteria. Aye, I'll accompany you."

As the oldsters made their way out onto the lawns Wisteria rubbed her eyes. The bright sun made it hard to see. When her vision cleared she sucked in a breath and shouted.

"Flo! Is that you? Trilium, and Dawnlily! My goodness, what are you all doing here?"

Greage laughed quietly as he sent his vermin towards Lilyfall. They were armed with long lances and daggers. The fox hoped to force his way through the barricades Ruckador and the other otters had set up.

The warrior otter narrowed his gaze as he watched the vermin draw closer. "Just a little bit closer... that's it! Right there!" He shouted loudly at the otters behind him. "Fire!" Arrows flew like angry wasps over the barricades and towards the vermin. Six were slain instantly and more were injured. They screamed and fled back to Greage.

The fox cursed under his breath. "They are better than I thought but this place will be mine!"

"Grandma Wisteria!! It's really you! How are you? We need some help could you come with us?" Flo called all in one breath as she hugged Grandma Wisteria.

Dawnbud, was a little scared as she let the arrow go it found it's mark she stood there for a second shaking. This was the first time she had killed anything but she got over it, as a fox peered over the edge of the rock, and aimed at her she let another arrow fly! It hit him in his shoulder she watched as he fell over the edge still alive. but injured.

Dawnlilly, heard the voice of wisteria, and ran to her giving her a hug "That's what we were going to ask you you can not just leave and tell no one!"
"Tell no one! I, told my young nephew where is he why didn't he come!?" She asked looking worried Dawnlilly, looked at Relfir, and nodded to him then at wisteria.
"Er...How do i put this........Your nephew,.... disappeared we think it was the vermin who are attacking lillyfall right know I'm so sorry." Relfir said and stepped back to let dawnlilly hug her again.
"well i saw it but i did not think it would happen so soon...and i've seen other things to... good ones!" she said winking at Relfir than looking at dawnlilly and laughing when Relfir blushed.

Trilium watched from a distance. A rare smile on her face, "Hey there Grandma Wisteria, is the food here really as good as everybeast says?"

"Well ye sit is altho they don't make shrimp and hotroot soup as much as back home..." She sighed looking at them.

BIC: Trilium walked from the room and ran to the Walltop. She gazed longingly at the dark forest, wishing to be out there. Adventuring. Slaying vermin.
She was glad that Grandma Wisteria had been found, but Tril longed for adventure.
