The Pitch Drop Experiment is one of the longest running scientific experiments of all time. It's been in progress for eighty years, not including the three years it took for the pitch to settle before letting it flow. It's designed to test speed....or the lack of it. In the eighty years its been running, its dropped eight times, and is due for the ninth soon. No-one has ever seen it dropped, either because of getting a cup of tea, or a camera malfunctioning, among other reasons. If you have nothing else to do, you can watch it live here. It's slightly more exciting than watching paint dry.

  It's probably not all that great to all, but I like this video.  It's a flash mob at Arthur Ashe Kids' Day.  The flash mob starts about 2 minutes in.  And a random thing I'd heard about it:  4 minutes in, Owl City runs out from the top left corner and starts his dorky dance. 
  My favorite part of this video is the guy with his lawn mower, lol.
