Zombies aren't real, nor will they ever be.

I agree with that.

Not necessarily. Haitians believe that if you do this, you become a zombie. In all other parts of the world, if that happens to you, you are insane. In Haiti, you're a zombie. It all has to do with culture. I do believe in zombies, but sanely, not like some others.

Anything can be as real or as fake as you believe it to be, or want it to be. For example, I believe in some healing powers being real, but I believe that mythical creatures (werewolves, vampires, etc) are fictional. It just depends on personal opinion.

After reading your post, Redwallfan7, this is the impression I got out of it: absolute truth is determined by the individual; truth doesn't mean much, it changes from person to person

is this what you meant?

Tiria Wildlough

Just because they're in some series doesn't mean they're real.

I would not be so hasty to dismiss the existence of zombies.  A bit of research reveals many, many incidents that have occurred recently that have all the trademarks of a zombie attack.  While real life zombies do not have the characteristics of zombies depicted on TV and in movies, they most certainly exist.

No, they're not. If they are, prove in a video or something.

Like I said before, I'm not talking about zombies as they are depicted in TV and movies.  However, there have been several incidents this year that have characteristics of a zombie attack which is enough for me to conclude that people can behave like zombies.  Here is an article chronicling this year's zombie threat complete with face eating and mysterious rashes.

Note your own wording "People CAN BEHAVE like zombies." Zombies themselves do not exist.

I never said zombies exist.  Once again, I said that zombies as they are depicted in TV and movies do not exist.  However, crazed individuals with zombie characteristics, such as eating people's faces while they are still alive, do exist.  If a person is in such a mental and physical state that they would attack and eat another person, I would consider the attacker a zombie.  So ultimately, yes, I do believe a certain type of zombie can exist. I just thought it would be interesting to note that there have been a string of zombie-like incidents recently.

As I just quickly went through Star Wars: Red Harvest I have this to say.

The main plot of the book is this sith lord has discovered a way towards immortality and able to control an army of zombies, but the flaw (as their always is one) requires him to perform a certain task, otherwise he'll be like all the other zombies. So in this regard, someone would want to do said task.

As with regards into their existence, anything is possible.

-Sometime later, the second mate was unexpectedly rescued by the subplot, which had been trailing a bit behind the boat (and the plot). The whole story moved along.
