I loved how in the books the island of Ga'hoole was so much like churchill's britain. Even the speeches were similar.

Has anyone played the Legend of the Guardians video game? It's OK, but you can beat it very fast. And the video game had hagsfiends in it to. Ugh. :(

I agree. The first five minutes were okay, then it was messed up from there. I'd read the books first. Do not watch the movie.

  I loved the first 6 books, but when Nyroc came in I kinda lost interest.  It was still pretty interesting, I just didn't like all of the magic that the author brought in.  It was a great series though!
  And I know that a lot of people say the movie sucked, but I'm going to have to say that I actually kinda liked it.  It sucked compared to the books, but if you look at the animation, it was pretty awesome!  The owls looked great, and the music was really good.  I loved the action scenes also.  It still was pretty lame because of how far they took it from the books, but it still was pretty good in my opinion.  Though, I have to say, my favorite part about the movie (besides how awesome the owls looked) was this:

  Yeah, I read up to Frost Wolf I believe.  I like the owls story more, but it was okay.
