This may seem odd, but I wanted to smack Martin in the TV series every time he said "I must reclaim my father's sword". He said that at just about the end of every sentence, and it got a little annoying.
In the books, I wanted to smack Bryony (I didn't like her final conclusion about Veil), Urthstripe, Slipp, Pitru, Skorr Axehound, and, to some extent, Sunflash and Felldoh (I liked them, it's just that they were too head-strong).

What is it that everyone has against Rusval! He made a mistkae early on and regretted it later, and fixed the issue! Come on! My username, and favorite character in the entire series revolves around him, yet I don't flip out at him, why? Because we are all just as accountable as he is! He realized his own mistake!
