LOVE FLINKY.  So much I made a whole topic dedicated to him!

Haha, Flinky's got a lot of love here it seems! Well, he was definitely a crafty and likeable stoat; and you have to admire the future he chose/earned for himself. :) Glad he wasn't killed like so many other vermin!

Yeah I was glad he didn't meet a horrible end like poor Killconey, one of my other favorites.

Flinky is in which story again....?  Must be one I haven't read because that name isn't ringing any bells.

Yep, Loamhedge, and in my opinion him and Badredd's gang plus Brag and Saro make the book worth a read.

I agree, those characters make the book. I love Flinky and CrinkTail

I haven't read the books in a while, so forgive me if I'm wrong, but I think that Ungatt Trunn wasn't the smartest baddie, but he was clever.  He did get into Salamandastron, and wasn't he the only one to do that?

I looked it up on Wikipedia, and it just says that someone attacks Salamandastron.  Not that they capture it.
