Heaven

If I could switch my life,
And take on another strife,
I would let them be free,
And without such worry.

If I could gather the pain,
Of all the world in vain,
I ask my God "Oh please",
"Oh please don't hurt them, geez."

If I could gather the fire,
And make a fire so higher,
Then all the ones on Earth,
And burn the sins away.
Then I would put them in heaven,
Not inside the Devil's seven,
The seven deadly sins,
And put my liiiiiiife for theeeeeeeemmm!

All of these things on Earth,
That humans gave to birth,
Like wires and electronics,
That keep us down with the robotics.

If only the world would see,
That where we belong to be,
Is with the Christ Our Father,
In heaven for ever and eeeevvveeeeeeerrrrrr!

I wrote this song because my mom just went to the hospital and I am sad. I wish the world would see that we don't really belong on Earth. We belong in heaven. But Earth is just the test really. Sorry for all of you non-religious people. I pray for you.

Sorry, kind of off topic, I have no poem to share (yet), but I just want to say, I'm proud of you W0nWill! I am an atheist too.
I promise I will make a poem soon though - the skills I learned in a writer's craft class I took in high school will come in handy.

I added the poll, I'll add more and more poems onto it as it goes on. Though I'd like to know how to make it so you can chose three things or so, anyone? Glad to have you on board this tiny singing ship!
