Well, it might have something to do with the fact that a certin part of that name is a certain part of my RL name.

I like the fact that a lot of the names have some scientific/Latin basis. Gulo gulo is the Latin name for a wolverine, Melesme is also from Latin I believe, as is Lutra. There's a whole bunch of Latin names hidden throughout the books.

JK Anyway, I also like the name Sawney Rath, and I like the names Romsca, Rakkety Tam MacBurl, Rasconza (even though I don't like him), Swartt Sixclaw, Verdauga Greeneyes, Leatho Shellhound, Tiria Wildlough, Vizka Longtooth, Deyna, King Sarengo, Klitch, Ferhago the Assassin, Cregga Rose Eyes, and Bane the Mercenary
