I've always wanted to own Redwall books, and I might just start looking for good deals like you got  ;D

I really want to have the whole series, and multiple editions of each book as well.

I got most of my Redwall books for about $10-$15 Australian from second hand bookshops. I bought Doomwyte and the Sable Quean from the Redwall site, so they are signed! My brother used to read the series, but he doesn't anymore, so he gave me his Redwall books (Redwall, Loamhedge and High Rhulain). My Grandma got me my copy of Salamandastron for the flight home after we visited her. My Mum and Dad got me Eulalia! for Christmas. My Dad got me the Rogue Crew after BJ died to try and make me feel better. The other books I just borrowed from the library.
Received mostly negative reviews.

most of my books were paid for by my parents (yippee! for their support of me reading) or free.
I got the triple set of Martin the Warrior, Mossflower and Outcast from Scholastic (mother paid).  My Lord Brocktree, Redwall were free from the school library (they were readable, but too battered, so they were giving it away).  I have no idea how i got Rakkety Tam, though I am assuming my parents bought it for me.  Doomwyte and Sable Queen were hardcovers bought from Chapters with a chapters gift card given by my relatives or my parents (can't remember).   So all the Redwall books i have are free.   ;D   im afraid i have no intention of getting all of the books because im not sure if i'll constantly keep reading every single one of them, but i do intend to get The Rogue Crew and the rest the my favorites that i don't have.

My parents support my reading too. It's just that we have our own business (dad does all the work & mom is the secretary.) and they don't have much money to spend.

I see that some other people got really good deals too. It's always nice when you don't have to pay full price.

I do not own any of the books sadly. Maybe I'll get some eventually.

You poor, poor soul. Here's to hoping you find them sometime soon for 25 cents. :'(

or u could be friends with ur school librarian and wait for any redwall books to become too battered ( or look too battered, it can just be the cover fell off a couple of times, but the content is decent) and then when they say they're giving out free books have ur school librarian reserve the redwall ones for you.  i mean, he doesn't want them, but u do and hey, as long as you can read them, who cares how they look?
Trying to stop me reading Redwall is like trying to separate Sabretache from his sabre.  Basically, don't try.

I didn't think I'd ever get any redwall books and then I found some at a yard sale. You could too.

I just got Eulalia from a bookshop. Brand new. Very expensive. They had High Rhulain too, but I'd already read it, and both of them would have cost a bomb.
@Redwall Musician. I learned that it's dangerous to not own any Redwall books. I read most of them from the library, then we moved overseas and I was bereft for a while. When my mum turned up with Mossflower, Pearls of Lutra, and Taggerung, it was like a dream come true. :D

My grandparents just got me Rakkety Tam as an early birthday present. I'll read that when I finish the Rogue Crew, which shouldn't be too long. They also got me another book from another series, but they're wrapping that one up so I can't read that one until my birthday.

The ones I've got are:

Redwall (both a paperback with the original cover, and the 20th anniversary box which I found for $5)
Mossflower (found at library booksale)
Salamandastron (a lady my mom worked with was randomly giving away books, and this was the only one I'd heard of)
Outcast of Redwall (bookstore)
The Long Patrol (found at library booksale)
Lord Brocktree (found at library booksale)
High Rhulain (bookstore)

I'm volunteering at the annual library booksale at 8 AM Thursday, right when it opens, so I should be able to have a good look around and grab any books I want before the general public starts coming in.  Their Redwall books are growing fairly old and somewhat tattered, so they've started to sell the more ragged ones the last two years.  I've been able to grab some other books I wanted too, and even a video; it's so exciting to make finds like that.

I had a good haul at the library booksale today! Looks like someone donated their own copies, since these are fairly new-looking and don't have the library stickers/barcodes on them.  I got there right at opening and grabbed them while the librarian was explaining to us what to do; she scolded those of us who were looking at books, and everyone looks around, and here I'm the only one actually holding any - a good stack of them, no less.  Everyone was laughing about that.   :D

So today I got five paperbacks and the audio version of Martin the Warrior - all for $3.50!  The only one I missed was Legend of Luke because I'd mistakenly thought I had it already.  I'll try and get it tomorrow, hope to see if they still have it - my work is a block or two away from the library, but it'll be a while after the sale ends, so between the rest of today and all tomorrow, someone may have gotten it.  If I miss it, though, it's not the end of the world, since it's one of the ones I'm less interested in.

I think I have about 2/3 of the series now.

They haven't sold the rest of their audiobooks yet (Martin the Warrior was shelved in Children's, the rest are shelved with the Adult books), but I'd be willing to bet they'll sell the Redwall ones next year; it seems that they're getting rid of the majority of their cassette-based audiobooks. Next year before they clean out for the sale, I'll ask about those and request them to be saved for me if they're selling them.  They have 14 of them, and I love them all. <3

Whoa! Dawnwing, that's incredible! I think you just beat the 25 cents record. o_O And you got an audiobook, too? THIS IS TOO COOL FOR WORDS. ;D
