You know, since this is like ten times easier for us than it was for the members, maybe we should have to go ten times as low as they did high to get our record. ;D

Negative eleven.

OK, so if we ever get it out of negative numbers you will have to count down to zero instead of just going from 3 to 0!

Well, to start, there's the fact that to cancel our negativity out, they have to count all the way up to zero, but to cancel their counting out, we need only say "zero".

That was kind of balanced back when there was just two or three active mods, but now there's actually probably just as many of us, or more, than there are members posting in this topic... and the most active people are mostly mods, too, so it's especially biased in our favor now.

The point of the topic is to try to count as high as possible, but whenever they do, we're there, foiling their best efforts with a single word, and then showing up in droves to take it down deep into negative numbers, which will take them ages to work off, if they ever can do it.

It's almost like Sisyphus -- they constantly try to roll the numbers up the hill, but they know that they're doomed to eternally have a mod knock it back down before they can succeed.

Oh, and negative fourteen. Just because it might not be fair doesn't mean I won't take advantage of it. ;)

Negative fourteen.

I think if we're going to do rule alterations, it makes more sense to let members cancel out negative numbers with zeros, rather than eliminating the mod power to zero out counting. The mod zero is an original part of the game, after all, and that way both mods and members can focus on building up new highs and lows, instead of getting caught in a deep "no man's land" of 0s and 1s.

True, James Gryphon, if I understand your post.

Hey, steady one, we're not doing that yet-we're getting a record first.

Aw, be fair, Tagg. How many records have the mods prevented in the past? ;)

I don't follow that reasoning myself.
And I was joking in that post, for the record

Though, rule alteraations are pretty drastic if you think about it. whole game changes in its essence
