Here's how to post a picture:

How do I post a picture?
The URL of the picture you're trying to post should end in something like .jpg, .gif or .png. If it doesn't end with something like that then it won't show up when you use the image tags. There are several different ways you can find the URL of your image, and they vary depending on the web browser and type of computer you're using.

I'm going to do an example with Internet Explorer on Windows, because I assume that's what most of you are using.

1. Go to the page containing the image you want to use. I want the otter picture off this page: icanhascheezburger.com
2. Right-click on the image and select Properties.
3. There should be a field marked Address or URL. Copy what is in that field. The URL of my picture is: http://icanhascheezburger.files.wordpress.com/2010/11/47dd5f86-e0b9-4532-b6f6-cb437d412b67.jpg
4. Close the properties window.
5. In the reply screen of the Redwall forum, click this button:  then paste the URL of your picture between the tags. It should look like this:

6. Hit preview
