Am I the only one here who's looking forward to growing up?
Nope. The older I get the happier I am. Being a teen was fine. Being in my 20s is great. I think it'll only keep getting better.
I'm not much older than everyone else, and my experiences are pretty limited, but I have been an adult for a half decade now and am mostly independent in every area, so if you're ever feeling particularly nervous about something related to life post-highschool and want to know how you might expect some things to happen, you can ask.

Yeah I agree my 20s so far have been pretty good, better than my teenage years. A part of it is due tot he fact that I like university more than I did any school before that- because in university you don't have wannabe psychologist teachers complaining to your parents about x,y,z based on their "professional" opinions. Although I guess one thing though is since I'm going to be in university for another few years I won't be totally independent until I'm done my studies- and then ill be in my like mid-late 20s. But I mean if I've managed to live with my parents for over 2 decades another few years shouldn't be to bad :P I study and work part time, but since the university I got to is like 20 min. from my house I don't really see a reason to rent my own apartment etc... until I have a good steady job and not just part time stuff like I do now. Rent is to expensive in my city. That's really the only part of my life as an adult that I kind of dislike now- its awkward that a lot of my buddies have their own place while I'm still living with my parents...

And I have no idea why I wrote all that here- but hey since this is the most random thread ever why not  :P

Hey, take the opportunity to learn more from your parents! They've been alive longer than you, and now that you're an adult, there are things they can tell you/are relevant to you that weren't done before.

I took a personality quiz recently for a friend (we learn about MBTI in Speech class) and I got ISTJ. I just took another quiz and I got ENFP. What is life? :P

Such is the nature of falsehoods.

Yeah that's true! Just kind of sucks being in your twenties and still living with your parents. But rent here is crazy in my area- you're looking at $1000 a month for a bachelor or one bedroom apartment and that's just not financially feasible until I'm done with my studies and working in my field...

I think my profile is way too positive. :P Eh, I'll keep the picture though. A little positivity's a good thing, but I can't help feeling that it's misleading.

Space sims are the best. Too bad nobody makes any good ones anymore.

I don't do online games.

I'm currently stuck playing the old Wing Commander games (amazing!) until the 2012 fan remake downloads.

You could play No Man's Sky. ;)

How's WC compare to X-Wing or TIE Fighter? I've thought about getting it before.

Well, it's abandonware, so it is free. Never hurts to try it. So's the remake, which just finished downloading, actually >:D

I can't recall TIE Fighter or X-Wing, actually, although I know I've played them, so no luck there.
