It's both. It's not big on RP, but the point is that you are either a shipwrecked pirate attacking established nations or the nations defending against pirates. I won't post the server name here, because I don't want people from the server finding this forum through a Google search because

...people there have been treating me like garbage recently.

Don't get me wrong, it's a brilliant server and fun in its own way (unless people treat you like bad stuff). It has a grief protection plugin, a plugin for sailing ships and submarines (not just the little rowboats), a plugin for gates and bridges, a plugin for cannons and guns (if they ever release the guns, though), a plugin for shops and economy, auto-ranking, and much more.

If you're interested in the server, you should know that I have a bad reputation there as someone set me up three times. So if you want to play, don't be associated with me unless you want that. I'll PM anyone interested the name and IP.

This started as a request for inspiration on a crew name/theme, if you have any ideas please post them in the Minecraft topic in Cavern Hole.
