*Buries head in pillow* Never mind, just forget I said anything.

Deeply religious Christians probably have different views on the morality of certain things or issues than those who are significantly less or not at all religious...

Nah, Ariel, and in fact the whole story of the movie is just really stupid.

"Understood." Will looked at Nico. "Will you be my buddy?"
"You're a dork," Nico announced.

*Is confused* It has nothing to do with religion. It has to do with the fact that being stupid is acceptable (the norm, even) in Disney movies, for which the heroine is then praised as a "Strong Female Main Character" *coughlookingatyouFrozencough* for being overly stubborn. If Disney wanted to make real strong female protagonists, they should make more in the mold of Leia, who was actually competent and intelligent.

Also, the odd obsession with killing parents kinda unnerves me...

Courage: Not only the willingness to die manfully, but also the determination to live decently.

Actually, Anna's not a bad princess, IMO.  She makes spontaneous and stupid decisions, yeah, but actually ends up learning something (i.e.: if you're a princess and meet a hot guy who's anxious to marry you within a few hours of meeting, you should probably consider whether or not he has ulterior motives).  I mean, at least Anna's less obnoxiously flighty than Ariel.  Then again, Ariel is one of the younger Disney princesses.

...I love how this has turned into an intense discussion about Disney princesses. XD

Anna is naïve, Ariel is naïve and brainless.

She looks like a spell singer, with an army of dryads or treekin, I can never remember the difference.

I miss the bricks
I want the world of Tolkien,
The message of Lewis;
The adventure of Jacques,
And the heart of Milne.
But I want the originality of me.
