New Zealand.  We arrived this morning, actually, and we're currently at my dad's aunt's house.  We had a several-hour flight just to get to LAX, then a seven-hour layover, then a 12-hour flight from there to Auckland.



On a random note, the flight from LAX was with Air New Zealand, and as always, they had a pretty decent movie selection.  Among other things, I watched Dunkirk and Justice League.  Dunkirk was awesome (although I could've done without the three strongest uses of language... the plane noise forced me to use subtitles if I wanted to understand anything, so the words were kinda in my face). Gotta rewatch at least part of it sometime when I can actually hear the soundtrack properly. XD  With Justice League, however, I felt my brain cells dying by the second.  I can't even.  That movie is just so flipping awful and stupid.  The CGI was fake as, and the entire movie was so badly executed.  The Flash was the only thing that made it bearable.  Also, to a lesser extent, Aquaman.

It really cemented my dislike for wildly overpowered superheroes as well.  One of the reasoins I like the MCU is because it's generally so grounded.  There are limits to what these heroes can do (with the probable exception of Thor, lol).

Back to airport food last time I ate at a airport it cost 9 US dollars for a cheese and tomato sandwich and 3 dollars for fountain drinks!

Poor DC fans.
I feel like DC is just harder to execute well through live action. Their animations are awesome, though. Their recent comics have also been very thrilling. But live action? No dice.
