I currently suffer from this weird problem where I'm obsessed with the new Star Wars movie and want to buy/rent it when it comes out on DVD but at the same time I constantly worry that they're going to put something objectionable in the next ones and therefore it would be pointless to buy TFA when I can't see the next ones and I haven't said anything about this potential movie problem to my parents and I'm just constantly worrying about this and obsessing over whether or not they'll put something my family doesn't agree with in the next movies.

I hear that. But I don't worry too much that they will. Rey was the first time that a Star Wars movie's main character was a strong female one. I thought it was fantastic. And thankfully, that's not an issue for people anymore. But to include something like that, it'd be unwise for Disney to do. It'd alienate a lot of fans, like ourselves.
That, and it'd be totally messing up the story from TFA, considering Finn went back for Rey and Rey kissed him when he was unconscious. So I think it'd be ok.

I've reminded myself of those points repeatedly, and I hope you're right.   There's also the possibility (that I'm just as worried about) that they'll make it a one-sided thing with just Poe, though, but I seriously hope they don't.

Anyway, yeah, Reynn is such a cute ship and they should not mess it up in any form or fashion.  If they do, I'll flip out.

...On another note, I wonder sometimes if something's wrong with me 'cause I get so dangerously obsessed with fandoms so easily and constantly think about them.   First it was Redwall, then LotR and all that it implies, and now Star Wars.   Help.
