OKAY SO LAST NIGHT I WROTE TO MARGARET PETERSON HADDIX FOR AN AHG BADGE JUST LIKE RUSSA DID AND HADDIX WROTE BACK THIS MORNING.

*ahem*

Among other things, I mentioned that I'm a writer and that I'm tempted to write a fanfic picking up where her book The Always War left off.  And then I asked her her personal opinion on fanfiction, adding that she didn't have to answer that question if she didn't want to.  But she answered anyway!



So, yeah, this is an exciting day for me.

Yeah, I've gotten one before. When I was really little, I was into a series called The Mistmantle Chronicles. I wrote to the author saying how much I loved her books, and she wrote back thanking me
