@Groddil:  As everyone knows, the Valar are the equivalent of Middle-earth's gods!  "Valar" is Elvish (specifically Sindarin, I believe, but don't quote me on that), and it literally means "powers."  To call mere mortals by the title of the Lords of the West is blasphemy in the extreme!!!  A whole nation was destroyed by Eru Ilúvatar Himself for trying out of pride to wrest power from the Valar!

Also, "morghulis" is clearly related to the term "morgul", as in "Morgul blade" and the city Minas Morgul!  Rip-oooooff!
