Does anyone know how to fix a laptop that won't boot and keeps saying "Windows Boot Manager boot failed"?  'Cause that's what my laptop's been doing since June.  The GeekSquad guy informed me today that it'd cost a flat $150 to fix, which is more than I paid for it last November!  Hence, I don't know what to do.

Find out if you know anyone in IT, I think, and see if they'll do it for free or cheaper. My dad does that and I've never seen him not be able to fix a computer problem.

  I had to get up at 2:30 AM so that I could get to the airport in time to get through security before my flight leaves, so now I get to sit and wait at the airport for about an hour before I can get on my plane.  Yayyyyy...

  Thanks; I hope so too.  Though I will be making up for the unpleasant lack of sleep by going to Universal tomorrow and seeing Hogwarts, so that should be pretty cool.  If I take any good pictures, I may show a couple when I get back home.
